I didn't know if we had the fortitude to win those grit-type games that go on in the Horizon League, especially when you shoot just 35%. They're not there yet, but they had glimpses. Getting 19 offensive rebounds gives you a chance. Getting them to turn the ball over 14 times gives you a chance. I think the other thing is holding them to 37% shooting. It showed some growth in that they mustered up some pride on their home floor and gritted it out.

In the first half, he was settling for jump shots. We didn't have Brandon down there (in a 59-53 overtime loss). We were determined to be just as aggressive with them (here). We wanted to play aggressively and put the officials in a position to call it.

It was a win that was sweet because how we were able to win it. We struggled with our defensive intensity in the second half. It helps with our momentum going into the (league) tournament.

It's just bad. That's all I can say.

That shows you if we could have had him at full tilt how much better we would have played. We weren't going to play him at all, but he said he wanted to dress and see what he could do.

We were our own worst enemy at times. We put ourselves in position to win but put them on the line too much.

We're learning, and as we recognize things, we'll get better. Our goal is always to be better by the end of the season and come conference tournament time.

We just couldn't get it going. We're a pretty good defensive team, just not today.

That was not a senior play. But the guys didn't lose their composure. I just wish we were healthy. We're the only team in the conference who hasn't been healthy from start to finish.

That was uncalled for (by Bailey). He didn't have enough discipline. It gave them a heck of a turnaround.
